About

A construction accountant who publishes the price

Legacy Six Financial Group is a Gilbert, Arizona firm doing bookkeeping, controller-level accounting and fractional CFO work for people who build things and people who own them.

Why the firm works this way

Most accounting firms will not put a price in writing. We checked all 26 bookkeeping and accounting firms in the East Valley: twenty-one of them publish nothing at all. You have to book a call, sit through a discovery meeting, and wait for a proposal before you find out whether you can afford them.

There is a reason firms do it. It is easier to sell a number after you have built rapport. But it wastes the client's time and it makes comparison impossible, which is the point.

So we publish. Nine packages, every price listed, and, more usefully, a published list of what is not included. A fixed fee only works when both sides know where it stops. Stating the boundary before you sign protects you from a surprise invoice and protects us from unlimited scope. Everybody does better business that way.

Casey Ford, Founder

Casey Ford, founder of Legacy Six Financial Group

Casey has run bookkeeping and consulting practices across Utah and Arizona for more than a decade, working primarily with construction contractors, real estate investors and small business owners. The firm now serves 40-plus clients across Arizona, Utah and Texas, running on QuickBooks Online with Buildertrend, JobTread and Procore integrations.

The specialty is the unglamorous end of construction finance: job costing that ties out, WIP schedules a bank will accept, retainage that gets collected, Arizona TPT coded to the right city, and lien deadlines that do not get missed.

What we are not

We are not an audit firm. Legacy Six does not perform audits, reviews, compilations, or any attest work, and issues no opinion or assurance of any kind. When a bank or a surety needs one, we hand you to someone who does that work properly and we prepare the underlying records for them.

We are not your attorney. We prepare preliminary notices and track deadlines. Whether to serve, whether to file, and what any of it means legally belongs to you and your counsel.

We do not take signing authority on client bank accounts, ever. We prepare bills and route them for approval. Anyone who asks for more access than that should worry you.
